Spirituality

I am in no way qualified to teach about spirituality nor am I trying to push anything on anyone. However, if you like my posts and like me then I want to share with you a big part of my life. It is newly found and a life long journey of learning: spirituality.

A year or two ago I would have laughed at some of the things I believe in whole heartily today. Hearing words like manifestation or talking about angels, it’s easy for one to shy away.  However if the sentence above strikes a cord within you or sparks your interest then please keep reading. One Christmas I was given the book, You Can Heal Your Life written by Louise L Hay. My boyfriend’s mother, Terri, knows of my day-to-day struggle with anxiety. She was given this book during a hard time in her life and she said it was like receiving a giant hug.  When I opened my present I said, “oh yay, another self help book”. Who needs another one of those, right? The book sat on my nightstand through the New Year. Then one night I looked at this beautifully illustrated book and thought, why not? I picked it up and there began my journey into the wonderful world of spirituality.

I then discovered a whole array of spiritual teachers and authors including Dr. Wayne W Dyer, Doreen Virtue, & Ester and Jerry Hicks just to name a few. What an awakening. All my life I have heard people refer to certain books as life changing. I could never grasp how a book could change a person's life, it a concept I wasn't familiar with. Louise L. Hay most definitely changed my life with her book, You can Heal your Life. I can’t imagine not reading her book, what a void. So, I must stress to my readers to please get yourself a copy. Read it with an open and kind mind. Let her words of inspiration into your hearts and heal your life.

If you struggle with anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress, insecurities, or any thing negative in your life then please take a look at my reading suggestions below. I have struggled with the gripping fears and paranoia that accompany anxiety my whole life. After reading these books and putting some of the practices into my daily routine, anxiety doesn’t have the power I once allowed it to have. I feel happier, lighter, and enjoy life much more. Creative ideas and energy flow more easily in and out of my life. I still have fearful thoughts creep into my head, but now I have the tools to deal with them. We all have our own story to tell and mental demos to fight. Remember that you're not alone and there is so much love in the world to be felt.
